Who is Lilith Lore?

Lilith Lore is a storyteller, burlesque dancer and much, much more.  Although not the Lilith of legend, Miss Lore certainly identifies with Adam's first (betrayed and terribly misunderstood) wife, and counts her among her personal heroes.  Chicago's Velma Kelly and Cole Porter's "Miss Otis" also share in this dubious honor.

It has been speculated that Lilith is the evil twin sister of Shannon E. Fullard, a legitimate actress with a degree in theater.  Lilith has not made comment on this possibility, but Ms. Fullard flat-out denies it.

For a more personal look at Lilith and her day to day life, please friend her on Facebook, or on Myspace.  Or if you simply must know exactly what she's doing at that very minute, feel free to follow her on Twitter.  Of course, for a truly detailed look at what it's like to be Miss Lore, your best bet is to visit her blog, Alluring Lore.

Storytelling

Poison Apples & Pretty Witches:  Gather 'round for Lilith's wickedly salacious retelling of classic stories from the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and Charles Perrault. Be prepared to see your favorite fairy tale heroes and heroines in a whole new light once you've heard her take on wolves, witches and, of course, poison apples.

Torrid Tales of Love & Lust:  In this sexually charged show, Lilith will bring you to the very brink and back with readings from some of her favorite pieces of erotic literature.  If you're an erotica writer looking for greater exposure, Lilith is always looking for new material for her X-rated entertainments.

Burlesque

The Carnal Carnival:  This burlesque and variety acts troupe, founded by Lilith, strives to make sure that each show we put on includes not just semi-naked, beautiful women, but side show and variety acts that would have been right at home at the street fairs and circuses of yesteryear. For more information or to book the Carnival, please visit their website.

The White Elephant Burlesque Society Lilith made her burlesque premier as a special guest performer with the White Elephants and has since gone on to become a full member in their troupe.  The White Elephants possess a theatrical flare that is sometimes missing from modern burlesque and have distinct on-stage personas that are seperate from their day-to-day selves.  For more information or to book the White Elephants, please visit their website.

Other Performances:  Although Lilith performs primarily with the troupes named above, she's always happy to get up on stage and strut her stuff.  Watch the Upcoming Shows page for performances with other troupes.

Other Endevours

Although the bulk of Lilith's work has been described above, you may occasionally spy her at events (or on tourist-packed streets when money's tight) divining the future with Tarot cards, or standing very, very still, earning scratch as a living statue.

When out of the public eye, Lilith spends much of her time at home writing and collecting stories for the alternative fairytale collection she swears is going to be ready to print any day now.  Really.

For regular updates about all these little endevours, as well as where and when to hear her stories, and news about local burlesque happenings, join Lilith's mailing list by writing to her at LilithLore@gmail.com with the subject line, "Mailing List."
